The CTI Server can provide shared phonebooks and notes via group resources.
The basic configuration of the CTI Server already includes two phonebooks:
"Global.Phonebook" (Access database)
"Global.LocalNumbers" for local phone numbers of users.
The following data sources are supported:
Access database (shared write access and notes, based on an existing template)
external ODBC databases (shared write access and notes)
CSV files (shared write access possible if used exclusively by the CTI Server)
ODBC with SQL query, OLEDB, LDAP (shared read access only)
The phonebooks must be assigned as a resource to at least one group on the CTI Server; they are then automatically distributed to all client members of that group.
The CTI Client may need to be restarted for newly configured phonebooks to become visible.
For further information on configuring phonebooks, group resources, permissions, and shared notes, please refer to the CTI Server help.
